Sarah found her love of public relations over two decades ago when she was elected Editor-in-Chief of her university newspaper, the Cortland Dragon Chronicle. Her passion is to partner with companies, organizations, and individuals who seek a customized marketing plan and bring them to new audiences. Sarah’s distinguished communications career includes Communications Manager of the Museum of American Financial History, Communications Director of the National Employment Law Project in New York, and Media Specialist for the AFL-CIO in Washington, DC.

Sarah is the Owner of the national public relations firm, Massey Media, which serves large non-profits, social change organizations, public arts, and businesses. Founded in 2005, Massey Media has managed high-profile media relations campaigns, such as the national campaign to raise the minimum wage in 2006 and the 2008 voting rights campaign. The firm’s clients range from Project Vote to the Alliance for Retired Americans to internationally-renowned artists.

Sarah has placed front page stories for her clients in the nation’s largest newspapers, including The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. As an accomplished writer, Sarah has successfully written and placed opinion editorials in every major newspaper in the country. Her photography has been published in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the Dupont Current. Sarah has booked interviews for her clients on local TV, national TV, innumerable radio shows, and international outlets, such as BBC.
